Round 1 - Jedovnice, Czech Republic (18th - 19th May)

For the first round of the UIM F:250 World Championship held in Jedovnice, Czech Republic Wayne qualified in third place, pole position went to Max Cremona with Nikola Todorov in second. In the first race Wayne got a good start and moved up to second place, but as the race progressed Wayne started to suffer from vision problems as his visor became more and more fogged up. Not wanting to make a mistake and suffer a DNF Wayne eased his pace in the rough conditions and was unfortunately passed by Todorov just before the finish line. The win went to Cremona. For race two Wayne again got a good start and moved up to second position, which he held onto this time and finished in a comfortable second place, the win again went to Cremona with Todorov third. In the third and final race Wayne dropped a place at the start but fought his way back and by mid race was in second place, the position held to the end of the race. Cremona made it three from three, with Todorov again finishing third. The overall win went to Max Cremona, with Wayne second and Nikola Todorov third. The second round of the championship takes place in Boretto, Italy on the 8th - 9th June.

Round 2 - Boretto, Italy (8th - 9th June)

At the second round of the UIM F:250 World Championship held in Boretto, Italy Wayne posted the third fastest time in qualifying, but a miscalculation by the team saw him excluded for being under weight. Max Cremona set the fastest time, with Nikola Todorov in second. Undeterred by starting at the back of the grid Wayne got off to a good start in the first race and made his way through the field to finish in third. The win went to Cremona, with Todorov second. In the second race Wayne dropped one place to finish in fourth, the win again went to Cremona, with Todorov taking another second and Kurtis Nydahl finishing third. In the third and final race Wayne got a good start and moved up to third, the position he held until the end of the race with the win going to Cremona and Amy Nydahl coming home second. Max Cremona made it a maximum points win with Wayne's third in the last race being good enough for him to finish in second overall, with Nikola Todorov taking the third step on the podium. The third and final round of the championship takes place in Znin, Poland on the 29th - 30th June.
