Team Turner's first event of the year was the 6 hour Foxborough Endurothon held near Halstead in Essex. The team finished in 24th out of 39 in the Clubman class.

1/07/2008 - Problems with New Bike's First Outing

At the second round of the Torque Events Sprint Championship held at RAF Honington Team Turner used their new sprint bike (based on a Yamaha RD250LC) for the first time. On Wayne's first run the engine 'ate' something causing damage to one of the pistons. During the lunch break the engine cylinders were removed and the piston was replaced. The new bike however did not perform as hoped. It was actually slightly slower than the old bike, but more modifications are planned before the next outing. Dale finished third, with Wayne 0.11seconds behind in forth.

30/07/2007 - Dale Continues Record Breaking Run

At the fourth round of the Torque Motorsports Sprint Championship held at RAF Woodbridge Dale won his class and improved the course record for the class (which Dale set last year) with a time of 13.24 seconds and a terminal speed of 102.65mph. This also improves Dale’s personal best time.

12/06/2007 - New Course Record for Dale

At the third round of the Torque Motorsports Sprint Championship held at RAF Honington Dale won his class and set a new class record for the course. A time of 13.32 seconds with a terminal speed of 100.80mph. This is also Dale's best performance so far.

30/05/2007 - Dale Scores Second Win at Rain Affected Event

Dale won his class at the second round of the Torque Motorsports Sprint Championship held at RAF Woodbridge. However he only managed to complete four runs before the event was stopped due to the downpour that ensued.

02/05/2007 - Dale gets Sprint Season of to a Good Start

At the first round of the 2007 Torque Motorsports Sprint Championship held at RAF Wattisham, Dale got the defence of his title off to a good start by coming away with a win. Dale won his class by nearly 2 seconds which was a significant margin considering the strong head wind present on the day.

10/03/2007 - Dale Makes his Enduro Comeback

At the weekend Dale competed in his first enduro since breaking his leg. This was at the very wet Foxborough Quarry Endurothon.

12/10/2006 - One-Two for Team Turner

At the final round of the Torque Motorsports Sprint Championship Team Turner finished first and second. Dale came home with the win and Wayne finished second. The win gave Dale the Class (Up to 250cc Road Legal pre 1982) Championship and also the Outright Championship. The outright championship is won by the person who scores the most points in the year and is open to all classes.

07/07/2006 - Second Win for Dale

In the 5th round of the Torque Sports Sprint Championship held at RAF Woodbridge Dale scored his second win of the season. He also reduced is personal best time for a standing start quarter mile to 13.43 seconds. This win gives Dale a healthy lead in the championship standings.

20/06/2006 - Second Podium Finish for Dale

The modifications that were made to the bike between the last event and this one did not give the performance increase that had been hoped for as Dale's best time was slower this time than it was at his last event. This performance meant Dale finished second, one place lower than he had hoped for! Though this second place has now put Dale to the top of the championship leader board.

17/05/2006 - A Win For Dale

At the weekend Dale competed in his first Sprint of the year. He put in a good performance to finish first by a considerable margin (1.7 seconds), and a new class course record. With Dale missing the first round of the championship through injury (broken leg), this win puts him in second place in the table.

29/04/2006 - Wayne Wins Sprint First Time Out

Wayne was riding in his first Sprint event at the weekend because Dale was still recovering from his injuries sustained earlier in the year. Wayne upheld team honours and put in an excellent performance to win his class by a significant margin. Unfortunately this will not count towards the championship due to the event being run over an 1/8th of a mile instead of the normal ¼ of a mile because of a problem with the timing equipment.

13/02/2006 - Crash Leaves Dale with Broken Bones

On Sunday 5th February during a practice session at a local Motocross track Dale fell off his WR 250F. Landing awkwardly resulted in a broken left tibia and fibula, fractured left collarbone, and a couple of fractured ribs on the left hand side. Dale was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich hospital via the East Anglian Air Ambulance. On Sunday night Dale's leg was pinned with a metal rod, and he spent a total of five nights in hospital. Though his leg should only take 6 - 8 weeks to heel he will not be competing in any Enduro competitions this year because of his leg being pinned. He will though continue to compete in the Sprinting events when he is back to full fitness.
